History
Cougars Lacrosse were formed in the Summer of 2006, a mere 10 years after the first game of Lacrosse was played in Gloucestershire by a then hastily put together team of an eager group of amateur players from the then College of Higher Education based at the Park Campus in Cheltenham.
The Cheltenham Cougars have two main Teams, Men's and Women's, but are also on the verge of creating a Junior Development Team in the county, which should see the game of Lacrosse really take off big in Gloucestershire.
Last season saw the Men's Team struggle in the West 1 league and found themselve religated to the West 2 League for the 2010/11 season.
With our new location at Springbank Fields we are looking forward to a great 2010/11 season........
The Women's team are also now in the SouthWest league and saw them retain good numbers last season. They will be in action with many games and tournaments scheduled for the 2010/11 season.......
