Cheltenham Ladies defeat Hove away from home
On Sunday 18th December, Cheltenham Ladies rounded off a tough 2011 with a hard fought win away to Hove.
In cold and wet conditions, Cheltenham Ladies defended resolutely for 80 minutes against a heavy weight Hove pack that attacked the fringe relentlessly.
When possession was secured, Cheltenham's superior ability to move the ball around at high tempo resulted in a brace of tries for debutant Michelle Lewis. Caitlin Short's conversion in difficult kicking conditions ended up being the difference between the two sides as Cheltenham ran out 12-10 winners.
