Can your business help Chester Gladiators?

1 year ago By Jim Green

Chester Gladiators are asking local businesses to consider donating a raffle prize to support the club's fundraising efforts.

We are a community rugby league club established in 2008 and, having started with a single team, we now have over 200 members with six junior sides, two senior teams and a successful tots section.

Our club is run entirely by volunteers and exists to develop the sport of rugby league and provide people of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to play the game we love.

We are a sustainable, not-for-profit club committed to keeping costs, one of the primary barriers that prevents people from participating in sport, as low as possible despite increases in operating expenses such as facilities and insurance.

The club's annual presentation evening takes place on Saturday 11th November when all of our teams will come together to celebrate the collective and individual achievements of this season.

This is a significant fundraising event for our club and the money raised will allow us to introduce at least one new junior side for the 2018 season and help us to train five volunteers as qualified rugby league coaches for our junior teams.

We would be very grateful if businesses would consider donating a prize for the raffle at the annual presentation. All contributors will be mentioned on the evening and thanked for their support on our club website and social media channels.

We appreciate businesses receive many similar requests, however if you are able to help please email info@chestergladiators.com or call 07512 355396.

Thank you for your consideration and best wishes from all at Chester Gladiators.
