Summer junior rugby league sessions have been a huge success and there is still time to get involved.

Chester Gladiators have been running junior rugby league sessions throughout the summer for children aged four and upwards.

Qualified coaches have provided boys and girls with a fun and safe introduction to rugby league, a fast and exciting team sport.

Next season the club will be launching a number of new junior teams and there is still time for parents to bring their children along and get involved in the sessions, which take place Thursday and cost only £2.

Our summer programme will finish on September 18 but we will be running further sessions through the winter months so now is the perfect time to get involved with

Sessions will be held on August 28, September 4 and September 11 before the final session on September 18.

Cubs - 5.30pm to 6.15pm (boys and girls)
Under 7s - 5.30pm to 6.15pm (boys and girls)
Under 9s - 6.15pm to 7pm (boys and girls)
Under 10s - 6.15pm to 7pm (boys and girls)

Sessions will take place at The Cheshire County Sports Club. Free parking is available and the address is The Cheshire County Sports Club, Plas Newton Lane, Chester CH2 1PR

Playing rugby league has many benefits including keeping fit, making new friends and maybe even progressing to a higher level.

We are proud that a number of our players have progressed to Warrington Wolves, Widnes Vikings, North Wales Crusaders and even international rugby league.

No previous rugby league experience is needed and all training sessions are led by fully-qualified coaches.
