Junior training begins this week
Training for youngsters aged between 12 and 14 who want to play rugby league begins this week.
Chester Gladiatords under 14s side will compete in the North West Counties Amateur Rugby League this year.
The team will be led by qualified coaches Adam Turner and Pete Ives and will kick-off their league campaign in March with the season lasting until November.
New players are being encouraged to join the team and no previous experience of rugby league is needed.
Pre-season training for juniors aged 12 to 14 begins on Friday, 20 January at Helsby RUFC starting from 6.30pm.
Sessions will then revert back to 6.30pm on Mondays from 23 January.
Training for juniors aged 11 and under and 15 and older will start in the spring.
