Chester Gladiators have been drawn at home to Leyland Warriors in the quarter finals of the North West Men's League Shield.

The North West Men's League Shield is contested by teams in Division Four and the Entry Division.

NWML chairman Stuart Prior and RFL club and competitions manager Sean Mellor conducted the draw which was overseen by RFL staff Anthony Atherton and John McMullen.

League chairman Stuart Prior said: “Once again we have some fantastic ties to look forward to in the North West Men’s League Cup.

“We’re another step closer to the finals day and every team should feel they have a good chance of progressing.

“There were some fantastically contested matches in the last 16 stage and we can expect to see each team giving it their all yet again in the quarter-finals.

“I’d like to congratulate those who have made it this far and wish them the best of luck for their matches in a couple of weeks’ time.”

The game is scheduled to be played on Saturday, April 26.
