Designed to provide a fun introduction to rugby for children aged 2-4, Chester Gladiators Tots classes have been a huge hit with parents since being launched.

As well as developing rugby specific skills, the classes help to improve physical literacy and fundamentals including movement, coordination, communication and teamwork. Parents are encouraged to participate in the classes providing a fantastic medium to bond with their children in a fun and safe environment.

Coaches plan exciting and imaginative classes using age appropriate equipment to help build confidence, support continued development and encourage a lifelong love of sports with children able to progress into our Cubs group at the age of five and then into our Mini Gladiators section.

Classes take place on Saturday mornings and run in six-week terms, and each class costs £3 so a full term is £18 - less than half the price of similar sessions.

As we are a community club committed to developing rugby league, any income generated goes back into the club, helping us grow and introduce more children to the sport.

Our next term begins on Saturday, February 11 at St Werburgh's and St Columba's Catholic Primary School, Lightfoot Street, Hoole, Chester CH2 3AD. Sessions will be split as follows:

9am to 9.45am: Ages 2-3
10am to 10.45am: Ages 3-4

Class sizes are capped so to parents can pre-book in order to guarantee places.
