Due to the adverse weather forecast, the Warrington Wolves half-term camp on Thursday February 23rd will now take place at Queens Park High School.

Storm Doris is expected to bring strong winds and rain to Chester on Thursday with the Met Office issuing an amber weather warning for the area.

To ensure player safety and a positive experience for children attending the camp, it has therefore been necessary to switch to an indoor venue.

The camp will now take place from 11am to 4pm in the sports hall at Queens Park High School, Queen's Park Road, Handbridge, Chester CH4 7AE.

Children will now need trainers and are advised to bring boots as well in case the weather is better than forecast. Appropriate clothing, a packed lunch, snacks and plenty of drinks are also required.

The camp is open to boys & girls aged 6-11 and will include skills, drills and games to develop young players in a fun environment with coaches from the Wolves’ Charitable Foundation. No previous experience of rugby league is required.

The camp costs £20 for the day and all attendees will receive a gift and certificate.

Places can still be booked but numbers are limited. For more details call 07512 355396 or email info@chestergladiators.com.
