For the 2008/2009 season, Chew Valley Seniors will be calling the new purpose built clubhouse at East Harptree Playing Field their "home".
Having previously enjoyed three seasons at Chew Valley School, the building of the new pavilion has given the club the chance to set down permanent roots. The new facility has spacious changing rooms, showers, referee changing rooms, a communal area for the mass of fans to shelter when it rains, and similarly a large kitchen that will one day be utilised to provide bacon baps and tea to the yellow and blue army.
It is rumoured that in the not to distant future, a high quality vending machine will also be installed in the clubhouse. Good times.
