Stockyarders and former USA Tomahawks reps Quinn Macali and Dave Whitney have completed their tour of duty down under with the Australian based side Coogee Dolphins. The Chicago based pair travelled to Sydney to take part in the Dolphins pre season.

Quinn originally from Ohio and Dave from Illinois were both invited to spend the whole season with the Dolphins after impressing in a trial game helping Coogee to a 24 points to 6 victory over Bathurst. However they will return to Chicago due to work commitments and will play in the planned 2015 Piranha Guard Development Series games.

Stockyarders CEO Mike Featherstone said "We are thankful to the Dolphins and in particular Andy Gilvary from the Dolphins coaching staff for setting up this opportunity. Quinn and Dave have gone to Australia to continue their Rugby league education and we are excited about the knock on effect it can have on our other local players upon their return to Chicago".
