Sponsor the Club - Want to become a sponsor

Overview

Chichester RFC is a true Community Sports Club offering Rugby to all, both in the senior sides and the Mini & Junior Section.

The Club is pleased to work with local businesses and individuals who wish to support the Club in any way they think appropriate and can be a benefit to both parties.

The Club operates five senior sides and a Mini & Junior section at all age groups with over 500 members. Sponsorship can be geared to the whole Club or specific areas as required that will secure the best exposure for the Sponsor.

Sponsorship can take many forms, and we have listed some examples of financial support in the form of a Main Sponsor Package and Special Sponsorship options. However the Club is anxious to encourage professional support in areas such as Club refurbishment, Web site management etc.

The Club has just completed another successful season

The Club currently play in London & SE League : London 1 South. They finished in 3rd place last season narrowly missing promotion after an exciting battle with London Irish Amateurs for 2nd place.

The 1st team also beat Brighton RFC in the final of the Sussex Trophy to become Sussex Champions. This is the fourth time that they have been in the final winning it also in 2008/2009.

They played some outstanding Rugby last season and we are very hopeful of an even better season this year. It is well worth coming to support the team. All fixtures are on this website.

Our 2nd XV ( Development XV ) currently play in the Solent League. They were outstanding winners last season losing only one game. The League has been strengthened this year with Newbury 2nd XV joining. This League will provide an excellent standard rugby for our 2nd XV.

The Development XV were also winners of the Sussex Spifire Bowl beating Lewes 2nd XV in the final.

The 3rd XV ( Gladiators ) won their Sussex Intermediate League last season and will play in Sussex Division 1 this year. This is the same league that our 1st XV were playing in not so many years ago.

The 4th XV ( Hunns ) Play in the Sussex 2 West League and finished in the top third.

Due to strength in players, last season we ran a 5th XV ( Barbarians ) with a full fixture list in the Sussex "Late Red' League 3 West.

Coaching structure

To support 5 senior sides we will continue with the existing and successful coaching structure that has bought success at all levels in recent years . Paul Colley, Director of Rugby and Richard Isaac, Head Coach, will manage the coaching team. Currently we are the second strongest 1st team in Sussex behind Worthing and the strongest club overall which is a testament to this coaching set-up.

The Club senior membership, both players and non players is currently over 200 and it is our intention to try to increase this in the coming season. Playing in the higher league should encourage more touchline support and general interest in the Club.

The Mini & junior sections is recognised as one of the best in the South of England. Continued success at all age groups has been achieved through excellent coaching skills. We have 90 fully qualified coaches working with over 400 boys and girls. The Mini & Junior section has produced a numbers of players that have gone on to represent England and looking at the current standard of play, at all age groups, I am sure we will continue to produce excellent players.
