BULLET POINT SUMMARY RULES & INFO

• No referee, parents, player or any other form of abuse
• Playing Sussex RFU adopted continuum regulations and rules
• We have allowed an additional squad member at each age group. Coaches are responsible for rolling of subs and ensuring maximum playing time is observed for each player
• Maximum 6 tags for U8 before lose possession – so on 7th tag, turnover
• Maximum 6 tackles for U9, then lost possession on 7th tackle
• Rolling Subs for all age groups
• No coaches on the pitch
• Playing team to provide a touch judge
• No conversions
• All games played in ‘league’ structure
• No finals, no winners, no losers, no scores
• As it is half term and the number of players available are reduced we will be playing with mixed ability teams. All teams to play each other hence maximum playing time for each age group player has been observed.
• No extra time played
• No injury time played
• NO adults in changing rooms unless accompanied
• Mouthguards – The RFU strongly recommend that mouthgaurds are worn for any contact rugby sessions

PITCH MARSHALLS AND ORGANISATION

• Each Age Group will have a Control Tent.
• All tables will be worked out at this Control Tent – there will be no Central Festival ‘Control’ for leagues etc.
• Festival Control will only be used (and will be based in the Clubhouse) to settle any disputes
• All Age Group briefings will happen at the Control Tents
• Each pitch will have a Pitch Marshall responsible for making sure games start on time and balls are ready for use.
• Medal ceremony will be completed at the Age Group Control Tents as soon as possible after all games have been played.
• Food will be available in the clubhouse and the snack van pitchside.

PARTICIPATING TEAMS & SUMMARY STRUCTURE

U11​ 1 x leagues
2 pitches per league
10 minutes total game time. No half time
Number of players on the pitch at any time is 9 with a squad of up to 14.
