Chichester back in action in Shropshire against TNS in the FA Cup.

Chichester City will be happy to put aside the January blues having only played one competitive fixture since the New Year.

The 2-0 win over Luton Town is the only game the side has played were goals from Cherelle Khassal and Alex Collighan put the Greens into the next round of the FA Cup and set up Sunday's tie with The New Saints.

City have been in fine form having only lost once in the last six games and have booked their place in the Fourth Round of the SSE Women's FA Cup.

Matt Wright's side have picked up wins over C & K Basildon, Luton Town and Gillingham, scoring 15 goals in the six games.

The team will be bolstered with the return of Jess Lewry following her one-match suspension after seeing red in the Second Round of the FA Cup.

Lewry has scored seven goals this season and willing be jumping at the bit to get on the scoreboard again.

Another player who has recently found her shooting boots is Khassal scoring in the last two games to help guide Chichester through the FA Cup.


Saints were 2-1 winners of Premier League Northern Division side Newcastle United goals from Kim Bebbington and Emily Ridge sealing a place in Monday's draw of the SSE Women's FA Cup.

The two sides have yet to meet in a competitive fixture, but both have enjoyed successful seasons so far.

TNS play at Park Hall Stadium in Oswestry, as border town in Shropshire and currently sit 2nd in the Midland Division One a point behind leaders Loughborough Foxes.

Andy Williams' side have only lost on three occasions this season and have been in the FA Cup since the Third Qualifying Round back in October.

They have beaten Shrewsbury Juniors, Bedworth, Sporting Khalsa (on penalties) and most recently Newcastle.

Players to watch out for are Bebbington and Ridge who have scored 34 goals in all competitions between them.
