Today we saw yet again changes made with new goal keeper tom Smith making his debut team was
Smith,Doyle,street,mandozola,boafu,nadif,hayles,mee,tatar,Webster and mcmorran.
We again started brightly and were causing problems with our front 2 being orchestrated by tatar and nadif was to provide the catalyst for the first goal coming from the penalty spot after nadif was upended inside the box, mcmorran making no mistake for his first.
Bilborough kept probing and having majority of the posession and created a well worked goal with good movement finished exquisitely by boafu with thumping shot from edge of box across the keeper.
Nottinghamshire could and should have had at least 2 goals with us switching off at times trying to press to much but unfortunately this is the teams way of playing but we went 3-0 up via an own goal after nottinghamshires centre half was put under pressure and poked call past stranded keeper half time.
We discussed at half time about making use of the bench and decided to give mendazola 5 or 10 minutes as carrying knock, wasn't long before making change we made it 4-0 with mcmorran converting to complete his brace. Changed mendazola for hassell.
We then seemed to switch off and allow nottinghamshire to come into the game and almost immediately pulled goal back 4-1 but then good move between mcmorran and Webster created chance for Webster to convert with header to make it 5-1 we then have Webster well earned rest replacing him with stone.
We again seemed to loose our way with changes and nottinghamshire kept causing problems and tool another chance to make it 5-2 and could have made it even more tricky if tool their chances, replaced mee with oConnor in centre mid, created more chances in last 15-20 minutes but didn't convert and nottinghamshire on another day could have made us pay but in fairness to bilborough tool foot off the gas at 4-0game was won and had chance to use our bench good result another 3 points m.o.o mcmorran
Special mention for crab hand nadif played on after dislocation off his thumb
