The U17s secured a good win in a feisty encounter at Windsor. Hard to believe that two weeks ago the pitch was frozen - today it was almost baked hard by the welcome early spring sunshine.

Chinnor came out of the blocks at breakneck speed with Tom H and Guy making the most of some flimsy tackling to score. Windsor got a breakaway try but Mini restored the lead when he danced through to score under the posts, allowing George to bag his second conversion. Windsor then got one back with a clever blind-side move that we should have defended better. 12 - 19 at half time.

The big pitch and the heat meant that neither side could quite maintain the pace of the first half and we only added one further try when Ross burst down the wing to score in the corner and George slotted expertly from the angle.
