A new lock swoops over Kingsey Road in preparation for next season.

Giant Lock Daz Oliver standing at 6ft 6 inches, and weighing in at over 18 and half stone is a Senior Aircraftman within the Royal Air force, and a key member of the RAF Rugby team.

SAC Daz Oliver has recently returned from duty in Afghanistan and was previously based at RAF Leuchars in Fife, Scotland.

Williams commented, “Upon hearing Daz was relocating to RAF Halton, Tibbo (Andre Tibbatts) was on my case to bring him to Chinnor. There has been a lot of interest in Daz which is not surprising as he is big, hard and knows his way around the field!”

Daz added, “I’m excited to be relocating to RAF Halton and getting the boots back on after a year out. I want to cement by place in the Chinnor team then take that form into the Army/Navy Championship. A big year is ahead.”

Matt Williams has also announced the resigning of Fijian Army number 8 Ledua Jope and RAF versatile forward Andrew Tibbatts.
