A massive thank you to everyone who helped make our DIY a success!

When we decided to run our DIY day (as part of the NatWest RugbyForce Weekend), little did we know what we would achieve.

With over 70 volunteers coming in to the club, we have surpassed all expectations. All of the following key activities were undertaken:

- Rugby World Cup mural by Lord Williams's School Art Department
- Beer Cellar make-over: with a floor clean enough to eat your dinner off!
- England Roses now adorn the changing room corridor
- Banksie has visited the changing rooms, showers and match officials' room
- The entrance lobby is much improved with more to come...
- Downstairs doors have been transformed into Chinnor colours
- Pitch 1's fence has been re-stained (what a messy job!)
- A new path and patio area has been laid, along with drainage
- Three new picnic tables have been built from scratch and treated

All volunteers were fed and watered thanks to the team in the kitchen and bar. With donated and subsidised materials plus expertise from local firms Hortical Landscapes, Eclipse Building Contracts and Wooster Construction, the club has achieved far more than you could imagine for a day's work.

Photos of the day can be found in the DIY day album.

Whatever your involvement, the club and all its members would like to say a big thank you for contributing your time and effort.
