Chippenham RFC

The sun shone on a brilliant day and thanks go to all Players, Parents, Coaches, Guests and Management on making yesterday a great success.

After the Coaches organised Fun Rugby based games in the morning for all Age Groups, all the Players enjoyed a Lunch prepared by Jill and her Team. Everyone then settled into the Marquee for the Presentations. It was good to welcome Kevin Snape, Senior Section Chairman, Bobby Lyons, Club Captain and Adie Price, Chippenham Rugby Hero and try-scorer extraordinaire who helped hand out the Awards.

Thanks to all the Coaches on making speeches timely, to the point and not too embarrassing!! Medals were presented to all Players and the following awards were presented;

After the Awards, came the farewells. We all wish the U12's well as they move on to the Juniors and we're sure the future looks very promising for this great bunch of young men and women.

We also passed on huge thanks to Greg Ayliffe who stood down as Chairman of the Mini Section after four years of tireless service. It was a measure of the Man and what he's achieved that the standing ovation latest for minutes!! We wish Greg well and very glad that he will still be involved as the CRFC Mini Section Ambassador.

So another Chippenham Season comes to an end and we look forward to meeting up again on Sunday 2nd September - 10.00am sharp!!
