The Dorset & Wilts DPP (Developing Players Programme) selects a squad of approx 35 players per age group where all will partake in the DPP, development fixtures and county squad programmes. There is also involvement with Bath Academy led sessions for those selected for the Bath EPDG.

Its great to report that after some truly bruising trials;

- Chippenham U13's have 12 players selected plus 1 selected for Somerset

- Chippenham U14's have 11 players selected with 2 more awaiting assessment.

- Chippenham U15's have 15 players selected , including 6 players in the Bath EPDG.

- Chippenham U15's Girls have 3 players selected for D&W Squad

- Chippenham U18's Girls have 4 players selected for D&W Squad

This is a fantastic result for Chippenham RFC and reflects the very high skills and attitude shown by the Players and the superb input made by the excellent Coaches over many years. Well done.

A very special mention to the Players that didn't make it this year. All of them put in a superb performance during the trials, worked really, really hard and represented themselves and Chippenham RFC with huge honour. Constructive feedback was given by the Selectors afterwards and this needs to be taken on board and used to inspire for those that would like to Trial again next year.

If you weren't nominated this year, the door is very open and you just need to keep learning and playing great Rugby for Chippenham throughout this season.
