The sixth Wiltshire Sports Awards, organised by Wiltshire Council and which was hosted by former England rugby captain, Phil de Glanville took place at the County Hall in Trowbridge and was attended by many sporting legends from the County.

Over 100 nominations were received this year all of which highlighted the exceptional work and achievements of athletes, sports clubs, volunteers and coaches across Wiltshire.

Chippenham 1st XV and Chippenham U16's were both shortlisted for the Sports Team of the Year award, along with Dauntsey School 1st XV and the Wiltshire County Cricket 1st Team.

In an unprecedented move, both Chippenham teams were made JOINT WINNERS of this award in front of the packed audience.
