Non Executive director and past player Bruce Finnamore facilitated the meeting and solicited feedback from five discussion groups assembled from the attendees.

The various suggestions as to how the club could become even better and in particular aim for ONE club with great integration between the various parts of the club have been taken away by Bruce and he and the Board with the support of the Management Committee will now plan the next part of the journey.

It was clear that improved communication is going to feature highly in the process and a strategy for this is needed. Bruce set the ball rolling in asking the attendees to consider whom in the club might have experience of putting such a strategy in place in their corporate lives. The intention of this is to bring a small team together to work for a short period of, say, 3 months in producing this.

Bruce made it very clear to those attending that the club has a strategy in place this was produced in a structured and thorough manner with the membership having the opportunity of feeding into this. The strategy was ratified by the membership and at the core of this was the objective of ONE club and a club that does not pay players.
