Many of you may have been wondering why concrete foundations have been laid at the entrance to Chippenham Rugby Club? Well, after a number of years of having a manual gate, the club is having an electronic gate fitted on Tuesday 19th February.

The gate, which will improve security and the safe well-being of clubhouse staff, has been procured through a local company on Bumpers Farm – Electromation Ltd. The gate is the first of three phases where the club is looking to improve security this year. We are planning to replace our ageing external doors and windows as well as the installation of a new CCTV system.

The Money Maul is contributing to these projects so many thanks to those of you who support the club through this mechanism.
