Chippenham travelled to Chippenham in a good run of form. However they were no match for Exmouth. Chippenham losing 46-5.

For 20mins Chippenham were well in this game, however Exmouth grew into the game and used the windy conditions to their advantage. The Exmouth scrum half dominated the game, along with his fly half who became the play maker for Exmouth, running great lines and creating opportunities for the Exmouth support players.

Chippenham cause was not helped losing no 8 Jamie Doubleday and centre Karl Brant. Chippenham's tackling left a lot to be desired. Back row forward Tom Baldwin was outstanding despite being on the back foot for most of the game. Chris Simmons at fall back fought to stave off wave after wave of Exmouth attack.

Training this week will be an opportunity to re focus and regroup. As Amersham this coming saturday will be tough opposition.
