The picture is of the Sports Awards Nomination Form 2019.
The Town Council extended the deadline to the 18th January.
Personally I am only aware from the Club two nominations have been
sent in by a Club Member.
I am aware of a nomination for the Olympic Legacy and a sportsperson
in the 11-17 category.
The Club as a Committee will not be meeting till after this deadline.
I am involved as a organiser for these awards, so do not think it is
right for me to nominate anyone.
Anyone can nominate, these days you may need to win something
or possibly be of county standard to win an award.
The awards are for achievement in 2018.
I feel there are more potential worthy candidates to be nominated,
individuals and teams.
Do not rely on someone else nominating someone.
We would rather see more than one nomination, than a worthy
candidate missing out on being consided.
