2011 Tour
There is the potential that at the end of this season our tour destination could be AUSTRALIA!
Fisher and myself are contemplating organising a tour to Australia, after the success of South Africa we think another southern hemisphere tour would be a great experience and bring the senior section together.
It would be great to visit Emma, Ryland and Moysie and even play Moysie's team in Australia! Plus Moysie and Ryland have promised to organise us some great trips whilst were over there.
We have done some rough calculations and it will cost approximately £1,000. Which would cover a 17 day trip, flights, accommodation, tour shirts and a couple of excursions. We would aim to go at the end of July/start of August next year. Before we go any further and commit to organising this tour and getting heavily involved with sourcing prices, costs and compiling a presentation for everyone we need to know who would be interested?
It is a lot of money and a big commitment but it would be an experience of a life time, especially for those who missed out on South Africa. I would open up a tour bank account and starting from the end of next month ask potential tourists to deposit £100 per month into the account, there wont be any cash handed over and no chasing people up like Manchester, it would be a direct debit each month. It would have to be £100 to make it manageable payments for everyone. If in 2 or 3 months the whole tour falls flat on its ass and doesn't work out I will simply give you your money back.
This has the potential to be an amazing tour, have a serious think and let me know if you would be interested, I need an idea of rough numbers of people who would be interested in the next couple of weeks.
