Chorley Panthers U14 20 v Pilkington recs U14 28
Chorley played there first game for 3 weeks to day but did not show any rustiness
In there performance at training we keep asking for 10% increase in each game and this week we got it in abundance.
After the first half Chorley trailed 16-0 with some mistakes costing us dearly but our heads never went down the opposite occurred.
Straight from the second half kick off we scored, then for the next 15 minutes we dominated the game.
scored 2, James Dolan, and Jack Ingham both scored 1 each with 2 conversions by Baily Locke.
Lets have a look at the tries : kieran quayle
scored his first try after some quick hands he latched on to the ball at pace and powered his way over the line, the second try was very similar power, pace and a good step enabled him to score his second.
James Dolan our wrecking ball never knows when to stop a powerhouse prop when he runs he takes some stopping the defence just could not cope with him as he powered his way over the line.
Jack Ingham scored his try after some fantastic move meant from the team and a excellent grubber kick into the ingoal area, the try was not a gift it took some skill to sprint through the defencive line and dive onto the ball.
We scored again in the corner but the ref changed his decision and pilks scored at the opposite end with 4 minutes to go pilks scored again after what seemed to be a knock on and were two far in front to make up the ground.
Our man of the match was Scott Dixon what a defensive display.
Greham fox made a big impact on dabut.
The decision will come our way at some point and we will get the results we deserve.
