Saturday 13th April 2013 will see the Panther’s Open Age take on Ulverston at Panther Park for the annual Mark Evans Memorial Game; kick off 2.30pm.
The game will be preceded with a minute's silence in memory of Mark and the winning team will be presented with the Memorial Trophy following the game. The kitchen will be open so please bring friends and family down to support and help make this a memorable day.
The game itself promises to be a cracker with both teams having good starts to the season and a win for either side will put them in the promotion places.
Thanks for doing this, It means a lot to me and the boys. xx
Will rally our age group, great idea for a great man.
Nice piece that.
Makes you proud to be involved with such a great club.
I've missed the big fella more than he would have been comfortable with!
Hi all, Ben, Jack and I would just like to say thankyou for the brilliant turn out today. Mark was very proud, as are we ,to be associated with such a family based club.
You have ensured that Marks memory will live on through the club, the plaque the cup and the shield are fantastic and we are all so grateful for your support and care.
I just wish you could know how much today meant to me and the boys Thankyou doesnt seem enough.
With Love and thanks Sam Ben and Jack xx
What a fabulous day it was yesterday, and how fitting in memory of Mark. A special thanks goes to all the the Open Age players for making it possible and providing such a great spectacle against St Judes...everyone from this club is a member of the Panther family and there is no greater honour than to do the right thing for your own...fantastic!
