"One out of three aint bad" as the 3rds became the only Chosen team to win their semi-final and book a place at Kingsholm on Sunday 11th May.
A tight first half saw Tredworth take the lead after thirty minutes with an interception try and conversion, but Chosen battled back and tries in quick succession from winger Dan Robinson and centre Adam Claridge plus a conversion from Ashley Lewis.gave the home side a 12-7 interval lead.
Three minutes into the second half Chosen went further ahead with a Lewis penalty and then Claridge raced over for his second try of the night after a good break from veteran flanker Kirk Lewis.
Ashley Lewis then landed another penalty goal for a 23-7 lead and then scrum-half Nick Bates, who had just returned to the field after a sin-binning, went over near the posts with Lewis adding the extras. On the stroke of full time Lewis added a further penalty goal to seal a convincing victory and book Chosen's place in the final where they will play Coney Hill 3rds.
