The disappointing start to Chosen Hill’s season continued as a 32 – 0 loss at home to visitors Paignton sent them to the bottom of the South West One table.
Not lacking in commitment or effort but fielding a relatively young and inexperienced side, short through injury of nine of last season’s regular players, Chosen were twenty points down at the break and despite going close on a couple of occasions they were unable to put any points on the board as Paignton ran in four tries for a bonus point win.
Chosen will be hoping that the return of their more experienced players over the coming weeks and months will provide them with the impetus needed to move away from the relegation zone.
