Churchtown defeat Norley Hall in style

Five wickets from Eddie Bancroft was the highlight of a ten wicket for Churctown CC victory over Norley Hall 2nd XI on Saturday.

It took just 6.3 overs for the skipper to tear through the middle order of the Wigan side clean bowling all of his victims.

Michael Watson (3/21) continued his excellent campaign with the ball, whilst David Foster (1/14) tied the visitors down in his 11 over spell. James Buck marked his return with a wicket.

Norley Hall put up a spirited display with the ball, but it took Churchtown 18 overs to ease to a ten-wicket victory thanks to John Southworth (18no) and Carl Jackson (35no).
