On Saturday Churchtown went second in the SADACL third tier with a convincing win over Tarleton 2nds. The home side recovered from 18/5 for registered 128. Eddie Bancroft (5/38) and Michael Watson (3/62) did the bulk of the damage with Craig Budworth breaking the key partnership with a neat run out. Ryan Buck wrapped up the home side’s innings with the ball of the day to clean bowl Tom Baybutt.

Churchtown lost five wickets in the reply, with Ste Williams (73no) in fine touch leading the visitors to another victory and second in the table.
