Exciting signings are a huge boost for new managers Allan Gough & Chris Burns

Cinderford Town can confirm the signing of Simon Prangley, Louis Feeley, Ben Fletcher and Lee Hartshorn ahead of our debut season in the Southern League Premier Division.

Louis Feeley is a creative wide midfielder who has previously played for Hereford, Newport County, Weston Super Mare, Clevedon Town, Chepstow and Barry Town

Lee Hartshorn is a central defender who has played for Llanelli, Afan Lido, Chepstown Town, Aberbargoed and Merthyr Town and will be vying for a place alongside club captain Josh Nelmes.

Ben Fletcher will replace outgoing Alex Harris as the clubs goalkeeper and has previously played for Chepstow Town, Llanwern and Porth.

Regular fans will remember Simon Prangley after a successful spell at the club under Steve Peters where he became a fans favourite.

Prangley said "Its great to be back at this great club and working with such good people, from the management, coaching staff, down to the fans and all the people involved with the club."

"The chance for me to come back here and play under Chris Burns and Allan Gough is amazing. There is a good buzz around the lads after everything that's gone on since last seasons title winning heroics."

"The aim now for us as individuals and more so as team mates is to give 110% to fight for the club to stay in this environment and maybe kick on higher over the next couple of years."

Chairman Stuart Tait was delighted to confirm the signing of all 4 players.

"We're really pleased to confirm all 4 players for the upcoming season. The squad is really starting to take shape after a difficult summer and can't wait to see all 4 players in action."

"We're confident that we will have a competitive side going into what will be the highest league the club has ever played in during its history"

Cinderford Town kick off their pre season this Saturday at the Causeway in an exhibition match vs Cinderford Town Under 18s. Kick off is at 3pm with an adult entry price of just £3, Under 16s free.
