AFC Totton 3-3 Cinderford Town

AFC Tottons Taylor deny Cinderford all 3 points after a inspiring second half performance.

Cinderford who battled to get themselves back into the game after a brilliant first half performance from AFC Totton.
The first of 6 goals came inside the first 30mins when Bye who gave Totton a well deserved lead.
Totton could have been 2-0 up after Bennett who brilliantly got past the Cinderford defence and was clear on goal only for his shot to go just wide.
Matt Bath on 38 minutes made a brilliant double save from shots from Bennett and Bye, Bennett finally got his goal on 40 minutes. You could tell at half time that there were to be more goals in this game as both team had chances, but Cinderford lacked the cutting edge up front.

Cinderford came out fighting in the second half and got their reward just 3 Minutes into the second half, Lewis Sommers got one back for Cinderford after some great play in the midfield from Ben Davies and Steve Cowe.

Cinderford could have then equalised 5 minutes later after Jody Bevan headed off the line from a Ben Davies header from a corner.
Cinderford who by then had Totton rattled and got the equaliser on 72 minutes another volley from Lewis Sommers this time at the back post.
Jody Bevan could have made it 3-2 just moments later.
On 88 Cinderford could have won it after great vision from Dan Harrison whos pass played Lewis Sommers in and Sommers put it over the cross bar.

Danny Mason who made his debut for Cinderford on the right of midfield who knocked a great ball into the path of Steve Cowe who then played a one-two with Lewis Sommers was through on goal and Steve Cowe forced the keeper to make arguably the best save of the game only for it to hit Warner and to put Cinderford 3-2 up and Silenced the Home Supporters.

Cinderford looked like they might pull off a heroic victory but there was always going to be another twist in the tale of two halves, Taylor poked home on 91 minutes.

Overall Cinderford played some encouraging football and deserved the point if not all 3.

- On Saturday Cinderford who play host to Bracknell Town will be allowing Kids in for free once more as long as they are with an Adult.
