R. Thorpe has been selected for the 35 Man Canadian squad and flew out to train with the team early July. He will take part in pre 2015 Rugby World Cup training and Pacific Nations Cup against
Japan, Tonga and Samoa. Following this cup Canada hosts the USA in Ottawa, Ontario on their way to the Rugby World Cup.
