Clanfield will make their first ever appearance in the FA Cup when they travel to meet Sydenhams Wessex League side Fareham Town on Saturday.The Robins were delighted by their acceptance into this years Competition and will be one of the lowest ranked Clubs taking part.They face a daunting task.Their opponents have a history of success in Cup Competitions having reached the FA Trophy Final in 1986/87 and have on three occasions reached the First Round Proper of the FA Cup.Clanfield have a number of changes to personnel this season.Rob Coules,Eddie Everett,and Adam Little have left for pastures new whilst new arrivals includeJamie Butt,Chris Blakeley,Danny Dixon (all fromCarterton) and Dean Mays (local football having previously played for Old Woodstock Town) whilst Dan Bishop(Highworth Town) and James Bowers(Cheltenham Saracens) have returned after a seasons absence.It is also hoped to complete the transfer of Matt Povey from Malmesbury Victoria.The Robins have a number of doubts for Saturday.Dan Bishop missed the midweek match with Lydney Town due to injury and Ollie Oswin,Steve Olphert,Dean Mays and Kevin Brooks all received heavy knocks and are doubtful.Ben Acock and Matt Povey are added to the Squad.Clanfield (from) Brain;Brooks;Coleman;Rodgers;Oswin;Butt;Blakely;Dixon;S Olphert;D Mays;Bishop:C Mays;Bowers;Bush;Bryant;Acock;Povey
