Clanfield hoping to prevent fourth successive defeat

Clanfield travel to league leaders AFC Longlevens tomorrow hoping to avoid their fourth successive defeat.

Tomorrow's host have won six of their seven matches and are six points clear at the top of table.

Clanfield's disappointing 3-1 loss at home to Tytherington Rocks last week left the Robins in 9th position in the table with nine points from their seven matches.

The hosts have scored 30 goals so far, conceded only nine and are the only side in the league to remain unbeaten.

Goalkeeper Mike Hedges was sent off late on in that defeat to Tytherington but will be available for the clash with Longlevens.

Right back Adam Smith and centre-back Aaron Paparoki are away while Matt Cheetham is still struggling with a heel injury.

But no further injury worries leave manager Peter Osbourne with a strong squad to select from as they look to bounce back with a good performance.
