Cleethorpes Town Football Club are delighted to announce that Huaxing Glass Co. will be a main sponsor for season 2015/16 sponsoring one of the 1st Teams kits. The Chinese firm has linked up with the Owls due to their association with Vice Chairman David Mann.

Cleethorpes Town FC’s First Team play in in the Northern Counties East Premier Division. Last season saw the Owls progress in the FA Vase, FA Cup and also reach the NCEL League Cup Final. Their campaign ended with the club finishing in their highest ever league position.

Huaxing Glass Co., Ltd. was established in 1987. It is now the 4th largest glass jar and bottle manufacturer in the World with an annual production capacity of over 4 billion pieces and more than 7600 personnel, whose production capacity stands at the forefront of its field with 13 plants across China.

To mark the occasion, Cleethorpes Town FC held an event at its ground, where Vice Chairman’s David Mann and Kenneth Vincent presented Winson Fu (General Manager) and Stuart Keys (Export Manager) with a shirt with the company’s logo on.

David Mann said “For these guys to agree to sponsor the club shows the massive intent we have and also opens up another exciting chapter for the club, we hope this forward thinking move helps show other business of our serious intent to make our club a strong part of the community and will get involved too. Having spent the last week with Winson and his team I can honestly say this is a very proud moment for the club to have secured a globally successful company.”

Export Manager Stuart Keys commented on Huaxing linking up with the Owls, “We are very excited about the sponsorship, we trying to expand our market within the UK and this is a new beginning for us. Last year we did sponsor a couple of Cleethorpes Town’s First Team players and matches throughout the season, but it has now moved on from that to sponsoring the additional kit and who knows where it will go on from here. It is on the agenda to attend several games throughout the season and for us to show our support. I expect the team to carry on their successful journey and that I will be here to watch on.”
