On Tuesday night, the Owls travel to Frickley for our first away game of the season.

Following the Owls’ impressive 4-1 victory in the season opener against Gresley, Cleethorpes will hope to follow that result up with another victory against Frickley Athletic on Tuesday night.

Our opponents this weekend are Frickley Athletic, the Blues faced Newcastle Town away from home in their first league fixture, who they beat 1-0 thanks to a goal from Gavin Allott. Frickley are also new to this division as they got relegated from the Northern Premier League last season after finishing 22nd in the league.

It’s set to be a tough game for the Owls, as Frickley are one of the favourites to win promotion this season, however after the performance against Gresley, Cleethorpes should go into the game with a lot of confidence.

If you are going to the game on Tuesday night, it would be great to hear loud support from the Owls for the match, as it would be a big help to the players because Frickley will likely have a good crowd for their first home game of the season.

The game on Tuesday is a 7:45 PM kick off at Westfield Lane, you will be able to pay on the gate.
