Firstly, tomorrow (Thursday – 7.45pm) we welcome second-placed Alvechurch. You will remember that we recently lost 1-0 in Worcestershire. This was a deserved victory for Church, who are certainly one of the best sides that we have faced in the Evostik.

However, the visitors are bound to be feeling a few jitters with promotion so close and we can enter the game with much confidence after Tuesday’s superb performance.

No break in the pace as Chasetown arrive on Saturday (3pm). Similar comments apply really, with the Scholars hoping to nail down a play-off berth. We drew 1-1 away in March, with defender Mark Gray grabbing the equaliser deep in stoppage time.
