The Club is delighted to be able to confirm that the official opening ceremony of New Linden will take place on Saturday 23rd June.

Local MPs Martin Vickers and Melanie Onn will be on hand to perform the unveiling of the facility. We offer great thanks to our hardworking parliamentarians for giving their backing to the Owls.

There will be plenty for all the family to see and do from 12.30pm onwards with ground tours, Club officials answering your questions, merchandise stall, season tickets and membership of the Clee Ultras. Of course, our friends and neighbours at Grimsby Town visit on 7th July and tickets will be available for this encounter.

As well as all this, a BBQ and bouncy castle will be on offer. Refreshments will be on hand in the clubhouse, which will also be showing the latest action from the World Cup in Russia on the big screen.

Individuals, groups and local businesses will be able to discuss a wide range of sponsorship opportunities to suit all needs.

Admission to this event is FREE - so, come along at the weekend and see for yourself just why the Owls have established such a strong community reputation.

Vice-Chairman David Mann said: “I have to pinch myself sometimes to see how far we have come in such a short space of time! It has been accomplished by the hard-work of numerous volunteers, who have pulled together to make the dream of returning to Linden a reality.

Special thanks to the hardy band that has really completed some back-breaking work in the last few weeks. Everyone can take pride at the achievement - it will be a tremendous asset for the Club and wider local community.

Finally, we approach this new era with confidence and I am sure our Senior, Ladies and Junior sections will all go from strength to strength.”
