The Seasiders entertain Toolstation Western League Division One Brislington on Wednesday, kick-off at 7:30 pm in the Quarter Finals of the Somerset Premier Cup.
Brislington reached this stage with a 2-1 win at Premier Division Welton Rovers and a 4-0 home win against Bishop Sutton. Clevedon had a tight home 1-0 win against Shepton Mallet and then beat a young Yeovil Town side 5-1.
Clevedon and Brislington last met in the league in 2021/2022 when the Seasiders completed a double, 4-2 away and 4-1 at home. There are usually goals in games between the two sides, with 28 in the last four.
This season Brislington currently sit in the last play-off place in Division One with three wins and a draw in their last six games. There are two former Seasiders in their squad – Neikell Plummer and Ashley Kington.
