Street visit the Everyone Active Hand Stadium on Saturday (3pm), after the weather has interrupted the Seasiders fantastic start to the season. The last league game was the 5-3 win at Torpoint in October, and Town haven’t played at all since the 5-0 FA Vase win against Brockenhurst on 11th November.
Street themselves have only played 3 times in the month but that includes a 5-0 win at Nailsea & Tickenham on Tuesday, their first win in their last 6 games. Whatever, Town will need to ensure they have used the rest to recharge their batteries and they get straight back into the groove.
Street are well ahead in the head to head record between the sides in the Western League including winning 8 in a row following Clevedon’s return to the league in 2015, although Town have won 3 of the last 4 games and will be looking to continue that improvement.
The match on Saturday will be dedicated to the memory of Vice Chairman John ‘JR’ Roberts who passed away last week, including a special programme, and we hope as many supporters as possible will come along and then enjoy the game afterwards as JR would have wished.
