Clevedon travelled to Cadbury Heath with Owen Barry having joined on work experience from Bristol City and competed well for the first 45 minutes before the home team took full advantage of the slope and scored 4 second-half goals without reply.

In the 1st minute a run down the right by James Fisher saw the ball played inside to Jake Harris whose shot was deflected for a corner. Sam Downe took the corner and swung the ball into the box where it was cleared to captain Kevin Camargo on the edge of the box but his shot went wide.

On 4 minutes another good move down the right between James Fisher and Jake Harris saw the ball laid back to Tyler Ashmead who put in a great cross to the far post where Jack Boughton collected the ball and shot straight at Jamie Powell who saved easily.

Clevedon had to be grateful to stand-in keeper Ben Murray in the 5th minute when a cross from the right by Simon McElroy was heading inside the far post before Ben pushed the ball away to safety.

Clevedon were again thankful to Ben Murray on 9 minutes when a Dan Vile cross from the left was controlled by skipper Matt Huxley before turning and shooting with Ben producing an excellent one-handed save to keep out the prolific striker.

Clevedon almost took the lead in the 10th minute. A long ball forward was collected on the left by Jake Harris who cut inside and unleashed a shot that was heading wide of the far post before a deflection saw the ball hit the post and rebound out to James Fisher whose shot was saved by the legs of Jamie Powell.

On 22 minutes a Dan Vile corner from the left was met by Cory Simpson but he could only head the ball straight at Ben Murray.

A lot of Clevedon’s early pressure had come down the right through James Fisher but a knock to his foot in the 23rd minute resulted in him having to leave the field.

Clevedon created another chance on 27 minutes when a long ball down the left found substitute Toby Yeates who cut into the box but rather than shooting he tried to find Jake Harris and the ball was cleared.

Sam Down collected the ball on the half-way line in the 32nd minute and beat several Cadbury Heath players before crossing the ball to Jake Harris who shot side.

A corner from the left on 35 minutes was cleared back out to Owen Barry whose cross to the far post found Jake Harris but his attempted shot from an acute angle was saved by Jamie Powell.

Half Time: Cadbury Heath 0 Clevedon Town 0

Clevedon created another good opportunity in the 49th minute when Sam Downe made progress down the left before squaring the ball to Jake Harris and his shot from just outside the box was easily saved by Jamie Powell.

On 51 minutes a corner from the right was cleared to Jack Boughton and his lob into the box found Kevin Camargo completely unmarked but rather than shoot he attempted to cross the ball to the far post and the ball was cleared.

Cadbury Heath then took the lead in the 54th minute. A long ball down the right found Simon McElroy whose cross to the far post was smashed in off the bar by Matt Huxley to make the score 1-0.

5 minutes later and the home side doubled their lead. A corner from the right was met by Dave Ashbury and his header made it 2-0.

Things got worse on 66 minutes when a run and shot by Harry Paice saw Matt Huxley expertly deflect the ball past Ben Murray to make the score 3-0.

Clevedon kept trying to find a way back and in the 70th minute a short corner was played to Tyler Ashmead and his cross found substitute Isaac Reid whose shot was blocked with the follow up from Jake Harris saved by Jamie Powell.

On 78 minutes Tyler Ashmead played the ball to Isaac Reid on the edge of the box and he did well to hold off Andy Campbell before sprinting into the box but just as he was about to shoot the ball bobbled and he sliced his shot wide.

In the 82nd minute Jake Harris picked up the ball wide on the right before cutting into the box and shooting wide.

Cadbury Heath completed the scoring on 83 minutes when Calvin Douglas’s run into the box saw Tyler Ashmead’s attempted clearance rebound straight off the substitute and into the net to make the final score 4-0.

Final Score: Cadbury Heath 4 Clevedon Town 0
