The next photograph to bring back memories is from John Brookbanks, the brother of Tommy Brookbanks, the Coalville Town fc manager.
His black and white photograph comes from the 1975-76 Clifton All Whites trophy presentation night for 1976 held in the Sherwood Rooms, Greyfriar St Nottingham.
The team, of which he was a player, was the triple winners of the 1975-76 Young Elizabethan Junior league, the Supplementary Cup and the Young Elizabethan Minor Shield (the large trophy).
In the league they were undefeated. Under the management of Glen Clay and with one game to play they had Played 17, Won 15, Drawn 2, and lost 0 scoring 92 goals and conceding only 16.
This was the first year that the club presented the Rose Bowl trophy to the best footballer from all of the All Whites teams for that season. John Brookbanks was the first recipient.
The photograph of the triple winners is now in the photograph section for teams between 1970-79. In the team is Notts County chairman Alan Hardy.
Keep the old memories coming in as we try to build a pictorial history. Send them to e mail: firstname.lastname@example.org or place the on the Clifton fc facebook
