L’Boro didnt deserve to lose by this margin, not by a long shot. They played some fantastic football and started the game on top.
The first goal didnt come until the 23rd minute meaning there was 11 goals scored in 37 minutes; that’s entertainment fo you!
We actually played better last week so its scary to think that we do have a few more gears that we can go up!
Isaac walks away with 4 assists today too.
Our teamwork today was second to none and this was the catalyst behind the goals; PAM was shining bright today.
We were lucky to go into half time in front (2-1) to be honest as L’Boro were playing some great stuff but a string of outstanding saves from Kian kept them at bay and we then kicked on.
Second half and we became ruthless in front of goal. Swift passing caused L’Boro problems and we capitalised on that and our confidence grew and grew.
We went 4-1 up but L’boro pegged us back and got back to 4-3 before we eventually ran away with it.
I could go on and on (as you all know) about todays game so I’ll keep it short and sweet... saves you all abit of time doesnt haha
L’Boro are a very good side and a very respectful side too. I genuinely wish them the very best for the season, I think they have a good chance of coming up especially if they keep playing the same football. Played them twice over the last 4 weeks and despite the scorelines, they have played fantastic football.
Well done Blues, proud of you for not giving up and playing the right way today.
