The Cobras beat Ruddington Village FC 2-0 to gain their place in the semi final. Retford United by the same token over came a plucky Hucknall Rolls Leisure six goals to three.

Clipstone have several ex Retford players including Steve Carty Jamie Brown and Karl Colley, whilst chairman Brett Marshall guided The Badgers to the NCEL Premier Title just a few seasons ago, to give the tie that extra bit of spice.

Retford have had an indifferent season so far in NCEL Premier, currently 19th position on 15 points after 23 games.

The game will go ahead on Tuesday 10th February 2015. with a
7:45 pm kick off.
