A win and a loss
A win and a loss from last Saturdays home fixtures.
A great win for Bob's [called up for 1st XV duty at the 11th hour - coincidence?] 2nd XV , 55-0, over a gutsy Carnforth side who had many youngsters and a smattering of old heads in their team, and surley will prosper eventually before Kevin's beard gets too long.
The 1sts came unstuck on a sticky wicket that was Littlemoor against table toppers Manchester Medics 8-29. The Medics just had a bit too much gas in the tank for Clitheroe in what was a hard fought encounter.
