The pitch was inspected at 10-45 on Saturday morning and was deemed wet but fit to play. Unfortunately half an hour later it started hammering it down and has not stopped since.
Deeply frustrating for the 2's who have not played in November at all!
Huge credit to the Skipper Dave Watson and the lads who keep making themselves available for action.
Away on Fylde's sandy pitches this week will surely see a return to playing rugby again.

The Bolton game has been rescheduled for 26th March (Easter Sat).

Meanwhile the 1st XV at a very wet and cold Rochdale won 7-10 in a game they had large chunks of territory but hanging onto the ball was a bit tricky. A satisfying, quite litterally - gritty, victory.
