Anne Barker Chairman of Clitheroe FC said, "James was introduced to us by Ashton United Vice-Chairman Steve Hobson as we were looking to improve our PR. Since he came to us the club profile has improved tremendously and we are seeing real improvements in our commercial profile as a consequence."

Steve Hobson said, "James sent an email earlier on in the season to a host of clubs wanting the chance to get involved in the journalism side of football. I contacted him and Ashton United gave him the chance to write programme, website and news copy for us. I have to say it was a great decision on our part as James has consistently provided news copy for us that has helped increase the profile of the club."

"We always like to give people a chance to shine at Ashton United."
Steve Hobson Vice Chairman.

"James has taken every opportunity to gain experience in his chosen field and in addition to his tenure at Ashton United."

Steve Hobson concluded, "We always like to give people a chance to shine at Ashton United as do Clitheroe. James is one of many success stories from what can be achieved through appointing great volunteers and supporting them to reach their true potential."

Clitheroe are always on the lookout for good people to join their volunteer workforce. Are you interested? Are you a good team person?
