Injured striker Dominic Mulkerrin is on the road to recovery after a tormented six months on the sidelines.

Blues striker Dominic Mulkerrin has been out of action with a broken arm since early August but told the website he is on the mend finally and excited about the thought of training with his team mates again when the time comes.

The forward who signed in the summer has had a torrid time since his injury with various setbacks. The 25 year old has previously spoke of his frustration that he cannot play, despite being fully fit from the torso downwards.

“My arm is still sore but it is getting better. I’ve been seeing a physio and it’s really helping me get my strength back.”

“I am going back to the hospital on the 29th December for more x-rays as my last one showed I still had a fracture.”

Everyone at the club would like to wish Dominic encouragement for his return and look forward to seeing him make his return some time in the future.

“Hopefully I’ll be healed soon and then I can finish off my physio sessions. I’ll know more on the 29th though.”

Accrington born and bred, the front man has been a regular at Shawbridge cheering on his team mates from the stands and is happy with the way Simon Garner is progressing the team.
